Cozy & Gentle: Caring for a Cold
Do you get colds easily? Or are you feeling under the weather?
Come home to your body with this gentle, restorative practice designed to support your immune and lymphatic system and relieve cold symptoms. Using blocks, blankets, and bolsters, we will focus on nurturing poses that allow for deep relaxation and healing.
Best yoga poses for colds and breathlessness focus on opening the chest, draining sinuses, and relaxing the nervous system. Key poses include Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana), Child’s Pose (Balasana), Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana), and Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana). These, combined with gentle breathing exercises, help clear congestion and improve lung capacity.
Suitable for all levels, especially those in need of healing and gentle nourishment.
*You do not have to have a cold or feel sick to attend this class. This class offers you a toolbox of relaxing and restorative poses that you can practice at home, if you feel under the weather, tired, or congested.

Each yoga class is designed to help release stored pain, anxiety, stress, or tension you may be experiencing so that vital, healing energy – prana – can move freely through the entire body. When vital energy is flowing freely (not obstructed), you experience positive emotions, revitalized energy, mental clarity, lightness, pain relief, and an overall sense of well-being.
