Get Your Head on Straight

Physically this yoga practice is designed to align the head, neck, upper back, and shoulders so that we feel more upright, lighter, and freer in our movement.

Alignment of the head, neck, and shoulders also allows the brain to receive unobstructed blood and energy from the heart, revitalizing energy to the mind. 

Spiritually this yoga practice is designed to connect you to the inner voice and song of your throat chakra (fifth chakra), the intuitive power of your third eye (sixth chakra), and the healing power of your Crown chakra (seventh chakra).

When the chakras are in sync and flowing –  prana, which is your life force energy –  begins to spin in your chakra system and begins to create dream catchers. Dreams are created in The Void, which is where we all come from and return to. The Void is also where all dreams are caught, created, and come from before they manifest here on earth. 

Connection to the Void
The Void is not the absence of anything. The Void is actually our connection to true, divine Love, which is everything.

The word Yoga comes from the word “yoke.” What are you yoking yourself to? To the true divine spark that resides within you. To wisdom, intuition, true love, connection, and compassion for you and everything.

Pranayama: Clearing of the Aura

Asanas:  Simple inversions such as Uttanasana and Downward Facing Dog, Supported and Inverted Forward Flexions, Heart Openers, Hip Openers, and Restoratives

Restoratives:  Viparita Karani, Savasana, or your favorite restorative posture

Healing Injury? For those who have a history of injury or trauma and notice that the effects of the minor/major injuries are beginning to interfere with your everyday lives, please note that all of the yoga classes are naturally healing.

Each yoga class is designed to help release stored pain, anxiety, stress, or tension you may be experiencing so that vital, healing energy – prana – can move freely through the entire body. When vital energy is flowing freely (not obstructed), you experience positive emotions, revitalized energy, mental clarity, lightness, pain relief, and an overall sense of well-being.


Whether you have attended any of my yoga classes in the past or not, you are welcome to attend any or all of these classes.


Beginner – with at least 6 months of yoga experience


One yoga mat, necessary
One or two yoga blocks, necessary
Two firm bolsters or two firm blankets, if you have
One yoga belt, if you have
Two or three sandbags, if you have
